From September to June, the box office opens Monday to Friday 9 am to 7 pm and Saturday 9 am to 1 pm; from July 1 to August 31, it opens Monday to Friday 9 am to 12 noon and closes on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays. For events, the building opens 1 hour before start time; for Musikverein-organized concerts and selected third-party events, the box office also opens 1 hour before start time, while hall admission usually begins 30 minutes before the performance. Guided tours do not run on Sundays or public holidays and can be postponed or canceled for rehearsals or technical work.
