Make a reservation if you’re planning to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe! It’s right on Time Square, which is one of the busiest parts of the city, so there’s often a long line to get a table.

If you’re looking for Hard Rock Cafe merchandise, then New York has you covered! The Rock Shop is spread over 1,800 square feet (167 square meters) of floor space, so there’s plenty to explore!

Make sure to stop and look at the merchandise - the Hard Rock Cafe New York has costumes worn by Madonna and Gwen Stefani, plus objects previously owned by John Lennon, Jimi Hendrix, Billy Joel, and Elvis Presley.

Look out for live music events! Many are free to attend (though you might want to make a dinner reservation to make sure you get in the door), and feature up and coming bands from all over the US.

how to get there

It’s easy to get to Times Square by public transport. There are several stations of the New York subway nearby, including 42nd Street/Port Authority (for the A, C, and E trains), 50th Street/8th Avenue (for the C and E trains), 42nd Street/Times Square (for the N, Q, R, S, 1, 2, 3, and 7 trains), 50th Street/Broadway (for the 1, 2, and 3 trains), or 49th Street/7th Avenue (for the N, Q, and R trains). Times Square is also served by bus numbers M7, M16, M20, and M104. While it’s not recommended to drive to Times Square, there are several private parking facilities in the surrounding streets.
