how to get there
The simplest metro and electric-train stops are Victoria and Omonia, then continue on foot along Patission Street. Bus lines include 022, 035, 046, 060, 200, 224, 605, 608, and 622; trolleybus lines include 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, and 14.
There is no on-site parking. Private parking is available on nearby Mpoumpoulinas Street, Zaimi Street, and Alexandras Avenue.
accessibility
Step-free access is via a separate entrance on Vas. Herakleiou Street, reachable by ramp from the front or directly from the pavement. Elevators serve the basement and first floor, an accessible WC is available, and a wheelchair can be requested at the information desk.
Visitors with total or partial sight loss can request access information for 20 touch-accessible sculpture exhibits.
luggage
Large objects, luggage, sports equipment, and bags over 30 x 30 x 15 cm (12 x 12 x 6 in) must be left in the cloakroom. Food and drinks are limited to designated areas, and pets are not admitted except guide dogs.
photography and filming
Personal photography with a handheld camera is allowed without flash. Professional photography, filming, tripods, and similar equipment need prior permission. Keep your phone simple in the darker bronze rooms, where flash is not an option.
