tickets
Standard admission costs €12, concession tickets cost €10, and the journalist/guide category costs €1. Concessions cover children, students, seniors over 65, groups of 10 or more, and local categories such as large families and unemployed visitors; the child concession age band may be 6 to 12 or 6 to 18, so bring proof and check eligibility before relying on it. Free entry applies to children ages 0 to 5, visitors with disabilities plus one companion, ICOM members, Athens Museums Network members, school attendants, and all visitors on May 18. General guided-tour tickets for 3 to 20 visitors run Tuesday to Friday at 1:30 pm and cost €16 standard or €14 concession; the phone-based audio-visual guide is included at no extra cost.
