Published opening hours through January 3, 2027 vary by date. From August 31 to October 15 and November 2 to December 17, 2026, the attraction opens Sunday through Friday from 10:00 am to 6:15 pm and Saturday from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm. Extra 10:00 am to 8:00 pm dates are August 25–30, October 16–18 and 23–25, October 30–November 1, and December 18–20 and 25–27, 2026, plus January 2–3, 2027. The remaining published dates run from 10:00 am to 6:15 pm, except December 31 (10:00 am to 5:00 pm) and January 1 (12 noon to 8:00 pm). Check your selected date; the last time slot still gives you 1.5 hours inside.

Online Saver Tickets start at €19, with the best rate available when you book at least one day ahead; the door price is €27. Late Tickets start at €16 for visits from 6 pm Friday through Sunday and daily during Dutch school holidays; Anytime Tickets cost €29. The FAME Experience starts at €85 online or €98.75 at the door and must be booked at least 48 hours ahead for the whole group. Children under 2 enter free. Prices vary with demand and capacity. Reserve a time slot in advance: it lets you join the queue and is not an exact entrance time.

how to get there
Madame Tussauds Amsterdam sits on Dam Square, about a 10-minute walk from Amsterdam Central Station along Damrak. Trams 2, 11, 12, 13, and 17 stop at Magna Plaza/Dam; trams 4, 14, and 24 stop at Bijenkorf/Dam. Metro line 52 is useful via Rokin, exit Dam. If you drive, Q-Park De Bijenkorf is about five minutes away on foot.

Wheelchair users are welcome, but only two wheelchair users can be inside at the same time. The wheelchair lift allows a maximum wheelchair length of 120 cm (47 in), width of 90 cm (35 in), and combined wheelchair/person weight of 250 kg (551 lb). Contact the venue in advance, especially if you need a free companion ticket or assistance-dog arrangements.
security
Allow a little extra time for entrance checks. Bags and personal belongings may be searched, and screening equipment can be used. Do not bring sharp objects, glass bottles, alcohol, drones, scooters, skateboards, rollerblades, fireworks, or toy/replica weapons.
luggage
Large bags and suitcases cannot be stored at Madame Tussauds Amsterdam. If you arrive from Amsterdam Central Station or change hotels before your visit, use luggage storage such as Lockerpoint Nieuwezijds Kolk before heading to Dam Square. A small day bag is the easiest setup inside.
photography and filming
Personal photos and videos are allowed in most of the attraction, and many rooms are built for selfies. Photography is restricted at reception, and commercial filming needs prior permission. Register your photocard if you want the free interactive photos and videos emailed after the visit.
