If you’re planning to visit Mozart’s Birthplace then you have three ticket options to choose from. Regular tickets give you one-time access to the museum. Alternatively, you can buy a combined ticket that covers both of the museums run by the Mozarteum Foundation Salzburg, Mozart’s Birthplace and Mozart’s Residence, where he spent most of his childhood. Is the museum accessible?

As the museum has been designed to preserve the house in its original condition, it’s unfortunately not accessible to wheelchair users. Mozart’s Birthplace is open daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm (last admission 5 pm). Closed on September 10. In July and August: from 8:30 am to 7 pm (last entry 6:30 pm). Note: Closed on Monday, 05.08.2024 between 3 pm - 4:45 pm. Open only from 9:30 am on Tuesday, 13.08.2024. Last entry is half an hour before closing time.

Tickets cost €10 for adults, €10 for students under the age of 29, €4 for schoolchildren aged between 15 and 18, and €3.50 for children aged between 6 and 14. Children under the age of 6 can enter free of charge.
