City Sightseeing offers five different hop-on hop-off routes with audio guide commentary in 11 languages. 24-hour tickets are available for a single route or for all routes. The 24-hour all-route ticket also includes a night tour, a dhow cruise, entry to the Dubai Museum, and a Dubai Canal Abra tour. The 48-hour ticket includes all of the above plus a tour of the Queen Elizabeth 2, while the 72-hour tour includes the QE2 tour plus a tour of the Dubai Aquarium and a Marina dhow cruise. The 7-day ticket also includes a ride on the Flying Cup.
Red Route
The historical route has 15 stops and gives you the chance to hop on and off at several key stops in old Dubai, from the Dubai Museum and the Old Souk to the Dubai Frame. Buses leave every 25 minutes from 9 am and the full loop takes about two hours and 20 minutes.Blue Route
The modern route takes you on a 10-stop tour of the newer areas of Dubai, visiting the sleek Burj al Arab, the Jumeirah Mosque, and the Dubai Opera. It also takes you between the Dubai Mall and the Mall of the Emirates, where you can switch to the other lines. Buses leave every 25 minutes from 9 am and the full loop takes about an hour and 45 minutes.Yellow Route
The marina route links the Mall of the Emirates with the Dubai Marina Mall and a handful of stops along the Palm. Change at Atlantis The Palm to transfer to the Pink Route which travels along the top crescent of the Palm. The 12-stop loop takes about an hour and 45 minutes to complete if you decide not to hop off at any of the stops. Buses leave every 25 minutes from 9 am.Pink Route
The Palm Crescent route is exactly that - it gets you around the crescent at the top of the Palm islands, visiting the numerous hotels and beaches that can be found there. Change at Atlantis The Palm to take the Yellow Route back to the mainland and marina area. Buses depart every two hours from 10 am to 4 pm and the full route takes an hour to complete.Green Route
This route connects the Dubai Mall with the Queen Elizabeth 2 and two of the largest cruise terminals. Ideal for visitors who are exploring the city on a shore day from their cruise, this route connects with both the Red Route and the Blue Route at the Dubai Mall. Big Bus’s Classic ticket includes one day to enjoy the hop-on hop-off, plus a dhow cruise and a night tour. The Premium ticket covers two days of the routes, the dhow cruise, the night tour, the half-day Sharjah tour, and a one-hour marina cruise. The Deluxe ticket is even more extensive, with 5 days of hop-on hop-off route access, all of the perks of the Premium ticket, plus a panoramic tour of the Palm Jumeirah, a Desert Sunset Tour, and tickets to the Lost Chambers Aquarium. Big Bus also offers a Big City Pass, a combo ticket with Aquaventure, or a combined ticket for both Dubai and Abu Dhabi. They also offer a range of free walking tours for visitors who want to get deeper into the streets of the city.
Red Route
This 9-stop route takes you through the historical part of the city of Dubai, with stops opposite the Grand Mosque, at the Old Souk, and the Heritage Village, before looping back to the Dubai Mall where you can change to the Green Route. The route is narrated by a guide who speaks English, and buses depart every 30 minutes from 8.50 am. The full loop takes about one hour and 50 minutes.Blue Route
This marina route takes you from the Mall of the Emirates to the top of the Palm via the seafront area of the city. Audio commentary is available in 12 languages, and you can change to the beach tour at the Mall of the Emirates. Buses leave every 30 minutes from 9 am onwards, and the full loop takes about one hour and 35 minutes.Green Route
The beach tour takes you past the Jumeirah Public Beach and the Wild Wadi Waterpark at the Burj al Arab, and connects you to both the Red Route at the Dubai Mall and the Blue Route at the Mall of the Emirates.
