The Moscow Kremlin (also known as just the Kremlin) is a collection of buildings in the heart of Moscow, situated between the Moskva River, St. Basil’s Cathedral, and Red Square. Its buildings include palaces, cathedrals, and fortifications with towers, and today it’s both the official residence of the President of Russia and home to several important museums. Visitors can explore the cathedrals and the Armory Chamber, and in summer they can climb the ‘Ivan the Great’ Bell Tower for fantastic views of the Kremlin complex and the rest of the city.
