Dubai Dolphinarium

There’s only one show inside the Dubai Dolphinarium: the dolphin and seal show. It takes place three times a day and you can choose between regular and VIP seats. Outside in Creek Park there’s the bird show, which features parrots and cockatoos doing tricks and birds of prey demonstrating their strength and power.

VIP seating is in the center of the arena and offers you the best view of the action. It’s also a bit more expensive. Meanwhile, the regular seating isn’t allocated, so you’ll need to arrive early if you want a better spot. If you arrive at the last minute, you might not get a great seat.

Dolphin Planet offers three different packages for meeting dolphins. The cheapest is the meet and greet, where you’ll be able to stand at the edge of the pool and spend 10 minutes with a dolphin. This activity is suitable for all ages, you don’t need to be able to swim, and you’ll stay dry. The shallow water package takes place in knee-high water and is suitable for children aged 7 and over and those who are less confident swimmers. These two experiences are limited to eight people per session. Finally, there’s the Majestic Dolphin Swim, which takes place in the pool’s deep water. It’s a great choice for confident swimmers over the age of 8. The dolphin trainers will help you to get comfortable with the animals, and you might even get towed across the pool if you’re brave enough. Group numbers for this experience are limited to six visitors at a time.

Yes! In addition to the interactive parts of the show, you can arrange to meet the animals. The Feed the Birds option costs an additional AED 25 and will let you feed some animals while staff take your photograph. Alternatively, you can have your picture taken with the Steller’s Sea Eagle or a Harris Hawk. Email or call the Dubai Dolphinarium to arrange one of the latter experiences.
