4 tips for visiting the Dubai Dolphinarium

SealSeal
1
Enjoy the Show
The dolphin and seal show is the main event at the Dubai Dolphinarium, with all the animals ready to show off their tricks. Show guests should arrive at least 45 minutes before it starts; regular seats are not assigned, so this also gives you a better choice. Try to sit as close to the center as you can for the best view.

2
Swim with Dolphins
If you’ve seen the show and want to get closer, current pool experiences include Meet & Greet for ages 5+ and Majestic Swim for ages 8+. Children aged 5–11 in Meet & Greet and 8–11 in Majestic Swim must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult aged 18+ with the same ticket category.
3
See the Exotic Birds
The Creek Park Exotic Bird show gives you the chance to see parrots, macaws, hornbills, toucans, and falcons demonstrating their different skills. Look out for moments when the presenters ask for a volunteer - bold audience members can make some memories to remember by taking part in the action.

More attractions
If you’re looking for some animal-free fun, Creek Park is also home to a mirror maze which will challenge all your senses. If that’s not enough for you, then you can try the 5D and 7D cinema experiences or the family-friendly trampoline park.

What is the Dubai Dolphinarium?

The Dubai Dolphinarium is an indoor arena and pool complex that is home to a family of bottlenose dolphins and seals. Their animals are trained to interact safely with humans and to perform tricks at the attraction’s daily shows. The Dolphinarium is inside Dubai’s Creek Park, which also contains a number of other attractions such as a mirror maze, 5D and 7D cinema experiences, and an exotic bird show.

There’s one main show inside the Dubai Dolphinarium: the dolphin and seal show, normally at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm from Wednesday to Monday, with an 11:00 am matinee on selected dates. What’s the difference between regular and VIP seating?

VIP seating is in the center of the arena and offers you the best view of the action. It’s also a bit more expensive. Meanwhile, the regular seating isn’t allocated, so you’ll need to arrive early if you want a better spot. If you arrive at the last minute, you might not get a great seat.

What are the different options for interacting with dolphins?

Current bookable pool options are the 10-minute Meet & Greet for ages 5+ and the 20-minute Majestic Swim for ages 8+. Children aged 5–11 in Meet & Greet and 8–11 in Majestic Swim must be accompanied in the pool by a paying adult aged 18+ with the same ticket category.

Can we meet the birds at the bird show?

Yes! In addition to the interactive parts of the show, you can arrange to meet the animals. The Feed the Birds option costs an additional AED 25 and will let you feed some animals while staff take your photograph.
