Ten years on Sentosa and still changing
By October 2024 the attraction was already celebrating its 10th anniversary on Sentosa, which tells you this is not a short-lived resort pop-up. It has had time to learn what works here: big-name celebrity moments, family pacing, and enough interactive detail to hold people longer than a standard wax museum usually can. That staying power is part of the appeal.
Images of Singapore gives it a local backbone
The walk-through Images of Singapore section is what stops the visit from feeling interchangeable with any other wax attraction. It traces the city’s path from fishing village to modern powerhouse, so the celebrity rooms around it feel more rooted in place. Without that layer the stop would be fun; with it, it feels distinctly Singapore.
The boat ride and 2025 refreshes keep it from feeling static
The Spirit of Singapore is billed as the first-ever Madame Tussauds boat ride, and that slightly odd detail is exactly why people remember it. Add the 2025 Thrill Coaster Singapore launch, the all-new immersive Images of Singapore refresh, more than 80 figures, and over 12 zones, and the place stops feeling static very quickly. It is still a wax attraction, but it is one with much better rhythm than the label suggests.
