The Marina Bay Sands resort has been standing between the mouth of the Singapore River and the Singapore Strait since 2010. Although the building contains a hotel, restaurants, exhibition spaces, theaters, and a casino, the highlight has to be the rooftop SkyPark. Visitors with a ticket can ride up to the SkyPark to enjoy the views over the city, and if you book tickets in advance then your visit will be particularly cheap and stress-free.

1
Book in advanceYou can buy your ticket to the Marina Bay Sands SkyPark on site, however, you can save yourself the queuing if you book the ticket online in advance - also this way you might catch a better price.

2
Wind and weatherSince the SkyPark is an open panoramic platform, it is exposed to wind and weather and therefore you should bring a rain jacket to be on the safe side. Although umbrellas are allowed you are advised to not use one as it can get quite windy at the top. In case of heavy rain or lightning strikes, the platform might be closed temporarily.
3
Time of daySince the ambience depends on the time of day we especially recommend the later hours, when the day is coming to an end. On one hand you can watch the sunset from above and on the other you can gaze at the colorful light and water show called Spectra.
4
Time PlanningKeep in mind that the number of visitors will be especially during the time of Spectra high. Therefore you should ensure enough time to be able to get the very best viewing point. The light and water show takes place daily at 8:00 pm. Tickets to the SkyPark will be sold on site until 8:30pm, with last entrance at 8:50pm. Although there are other late-night Spectra shows, you won't be able to watch them from the platform, as it closes earlier.
5
Food and BeverageIt is not allowed to take food into the SkyPark, but there are two bars on the observation deck. However, these cannot be reached directly from the observation deck - the entrance to LAVO Italian Restaurant is in the third tower, and via Tower 1 you can reach CÉ LA VI.

Facts and Special Features

The Marina Bay Sands, with its 20-hectare (49-acre) site, has been a Singapore landmark since 2010. The project has cost around 4.6 billion euros - so what makes the attraction so unique?

3 Towers - 1 Hotel

The Marina Bay Sands is one of the most luxurious hotels in the world, which spans over 3 towers, consisting of 55 floors each. The construction, which resembles a stack of playing cards forms the basis for the viewing platform, offers almost 2.500 hotel rooms.

360° View

The hotel columns are complemented by the Sands SkyPark observation deck on the 57th floor, offering one of the most spectacular bird's-eye views in the world. With a length of 340m (1,115 ft), the platform is even longer than the Eiffel Tower stands tall! From above, the far-reaching Gardens by the Bay park area with its eye-catching Supertrees can be viewed and at this height the skyscrapers of Marina Bay can be seen from a completely different perspective.

Swimming 626 Feet Above Sea Level

The infinity pool at Sands SkyPark is probably the icing on the cake. With a length of 146m (480 ft), this pool is the largest and highest outdoor pool in the world. Unfortunately, swimming is reserved for hotel guests only and is therefore not part of your SkyPark ticket.

Yoga over the rooftops of Singapore

The Virgin Active health club offers a special experience on the panoramic platform: outdoor yoga at sunrise. Offered Thursday to Sunday at 7:00 a.m. at a cost of SGD 30, the session must be booked three days in advance and occurs when there are 20 participants.
